NYIHA Media and La Terraza co-sponsored a successful screening of Human Rights in Quisqueya and The Price of Sugar on November 11th at La Terraza in Jackson Heights, Queens.


An interview with Dr. Steeve Coupeau on Afro-Latino affairs aired Monday 15 October 2007 on the Tambor, a show on radio station WRFG-FM Atlanta, Georgia. The interview was conducted by Bruno Gaston with commentaries from radio host Jenero.

NYIHA Media presented Human Rights in Quisqueya at the soiree sponsored by GALDE on July 25, 2007 as part of The Bohemian Night Series. The event took place at No Parking, a chic venue in Washington Heights, New York.


Manhattan Neighborhood Network organized a screening of "Human Rights In Quisqueya" and panel discussion with Dr. Steeve Coupeau (Filmmaker), and Raquel Batista, Executive Director, Northern Manhattan Immigrant Rights on June 7 2007 in Manhattan, New York. The discussion was moderated by Liliam Perez, District Office Director for Deputy Minority Leader in the New York State Senate, the Honorable Eric T. Schneiderman.
